This morning I woke up with the intention of making the same ol' smoothie, but then - I had an idea! I had seen so many people do this on youtube and pinterest so I thought I would give it a go - my very own 'fruit parfait' - is that what you call it?! :/ It was absolutely delicious!
I use my 'Mix & Go' - George Foreman smoothie machine to make smoothies and juices but you could pretty much use any blender.

Ingredients:
- 4 pieces pineapple
- 1/4 cup frozen mango
- 1/2 - 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 3 tbsp natural greek yoghurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- cinnamon
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup coconut milk - I love the flavour the coconut milk brings to the mixture but you can use any milk you want - almond milk, cow's milk, soy milk, etc.
- yoghurt of your choice (I chose mango)
- some kind of topping - mine is a cranberry burst one that has seeds, almonds, cranberries and dried apple
Method:
- In your blender put in all of your fruit, greek yoghurt, chia seeds, cinnamon and coconut milk.
- Blend till it is smooth - because of the frozen fruit it should have a thick consistency. For this recipe, this is what you want!
- Pour your thick smoothie mixture into a bowl and top with a few scoops of any yoghurt and topping of your choice.
Enjoy!
